REHVA presented during AGORIA & NBN workshop's on EPB standards implementation - 3 December 2019 - Brussels, Belgium

AGORIA and NBN organised a truly useful and meaningful workshop on the topic of EPB standards implementation - the most effective pathway to market (link in FR, link in NL) on 3 December 2019 in Brussels, Belgium. It was a successful event gathering key stakeholders from industry and academia, national energy performance methodology developers/experts, national/EU standard developers/experts and representatives from all 3 regional governments in Belgium i.e. Brussels - Capital, Flanders and Wallonia.

REHVA shared information (download presentation) about ongoing activities in its EPB standards core workstream by disseminating in a nutshell information about the most relevant projects involved in and calling participants to action:

• EPB Center - including the Service Contract ENER/C3/2017-437/SI2-785.185;
• ALDREN project;
• CEN-CE  project;
• U-CERT project.

Based on the subsequent discussions it seems that in general for national developments in terms of actually using the set of EPB standards it might be easier and faster having ready to use dedicated tools and training (also digital) developed based on the set of EPB standards. This made REHVA's presentation even more relevant as all the activities in the above mentioned projects are doing that and more.
